30 Dec

It was just about an hour ago we parted ways and went back to our rooms, but I really want to blog everything before this excitement goes off!

I had (yet another) one of the best nights just now! πŸ™‚

It started off with a simple dinner at Picadilly near Section 14.

The place is really nice and the food is super reasonable!

His Lemon Chicken Rice at about RM6++

My Thai Fried Rice at RM6++ also. πŸ™‚

#3. Us. πŸ™‚

The 5th month is coming, hence the dinner.

Nothing extravagant but I guess you guys must have known by now that I’m such a laid back (lazy) person that a simple dinner like this makes me extremely happy already. πŸ™‚

Then we got back to surprise Louise, whose birthday had just passed like a week ago.

#4. Louise & the green cake

We purposely got her the pandan layered cake cause her favourite colour is green! πŸ™‚

Okay, the cake looks extra green here because of the lighting lah. πŸ˜‰

And I must say, the King’s bakery at Section 14 is really good!

A lot of bakeries end up scribbling the words instead of really writing it out but this, not only it’s read-able, it’s also actually nice!

It was a really nice gathering with loads of jokes and laughter.

And this is why I chose to stay in 3rd college. πŸ™‚

New Stuff!!!

27 Dec

I wanted to wait for you guys to see yourself but I am justΒ too excited!

Meet my new darling!!! πŸ™‚

#1. New love ❀

I love love love it so so so much!!!

See how well it fits my hand and it’s actually my first ever slide phone!!!

Not one of the latest models in the market but it’s sure perfect for me!

And another new ‘thing’ of mine.

#3. πŸ™‚

This happened really random and unexpected.

I was at the supermarket and I felt like doing something to my hair suddenly then I picked a hair dye out without even considering twice about the chosen colour.

Then I got Mom to do it for me and surprise!

It’s not that bad, isn’t it?

It looks brighter here actually cause I purposely went outside, under the sun to show the colours.

If indoors, it looks like this.

I think if I didn’t tell people I dyed my hair they won’t notice the difference. πŸ™‚

New semester starts at 10am tomorrow!

Can’t wait!!! πŸ™‚

BBQ at Heng’s

24 Dec

Heng had a barbeque party at his house just last night, with loads and loads of good food!

#1. Food!

The guys pretty much did everything, while Jess and I were on duty to eat ONLY.

Eh, that’s a heavy task ok!

Anyway, as I mentioned earlier, the guys did everything.

Ryui Bynn was in charge of setting up the fire.

#2. Ryui Bynn at work πŸ™‚

Haha! See how modern technology make our lives so much easier?

He can use an electrical fan to start fire like that! πŸ˜‰

Then when it gets hot he can turn the fan to himself!

#3. Like this!

Okay, so fire done setting, someone sure has to be in charged of cooking.

And when it comes to cooking, sure Shawn lah who else!

#4. Shawn!

And this is Jess, performing her duty.

#5. Jess getting some bacon. πŸ™‚

#6. Shawn, Jess and pasta.

Then we played some drinking games, which is hilarious cause I get to see them drink and drink disgusting liquors while I nicely drink my F&N Orange. πŸ™‚

#7. "Police 'piang'.....AH!!"

It was really funny, seriously cause the same people keep making the same mistakes.

Which explains why, after playing for like an hour or two (I lost track of time), they ended up like this.

I miss them already! 😦

And of course, the lamb, the chicken wings, the fishes, the pasta, the salad OMG the salad damn nice! 😦

Of PTH & Seniors

22 Dec

I’ve been thinking for a long time, whether or not to post this up.

I know how sensitive this issue is, but wtf it’s really getting on my nerves now.

When I was a junior, just a year ago I joined this project called Pesta Tiong Hua.

It’s an annual project, done and managed by the first years of 3rd college first hand but under the supervision of the seniors.

I was the Vice Director and back then, I get irritated every time a senior complains about what we’re doing and start comparing theirs with ours.

I would be thinking, “You guys repeatedly say this is managed by us, but you guys keep sticking your butts in.”

Really, I used to give a big sigh to myself whenever a senior speaks up in the meeting.

Like, “Sigh, here we go again.”

But at the end of the day, the seniors proven themselves to be helpful actually. Very helpful, in fact.

Well, just some of course.

Then I became a senior this year and it’s my turn to ‘supervise’ them.

I keep reminding myself to give them freedom in their creativity, don’t hold them back, don’t stick my butt in their work and be a bitch, yadda yadda…

I seriously held myself back at many many many occasions.

But right now, it feels like I have to somehow stick my butt in or else I really don’t know what’s going to happen.

I know, I shouldΒ  just don’t give a damn, like wth right, my time has passed and I should mind my own business.

I think it’s my responsibility to remind them what is this Pesta Tiong Hua about, after all.

We don’t spend thousands of ringgit, countless effort, tears and time into some project. Not just some project, which could be done with much lesser money and effort.

We have our reasons, solid reasons behind everything we do.

A senior just post a comment on FB saying something like, “Dear juniors, seniors are always there for you to ask!”

I can’t help but to agree with him.

As a matter of fact, this doesn’t only applies for Pesta Tiong Hua, it’s a normal advice for the random-est days in our lives.

Like you don’t know the way, you stop and ask for directions.

You don’t just go blindly then end up in the woods and waste all your petrol, kan?

So, my point is, I suddenly get the idea of how difficult it is for being a nice-to-hang-out, cool senior and a senior who is carrying out her responsibilities well at the same time.

I really respect those seniors who can be both at the same time.

Three In One!

19 Dec

Okay, I don’t think it’s been that long but I feel like I’ve abandoned the blog.

Sorry! To compensate, I’m going to update on three outings in one post!!! πŸ™‚

Okay, outing number one was shopping with Mrs Choong and XinFei.

It’s the year end sales so we shopped like from 10 am till 5 pm!

It’s the same duration as working morning shift ok!

But super satisfying! All of us bought stuffs we’ve been wanting to get!

I bought new bras, new top, and a skirt!

But I’m too lazy to take pictures of them. Hehe.

So, I got two pictures from the beginning of our day only.

#1. Christmas Deco in Pyramid

#2. Mrs Choong & Fei

Got back, then after dinner I got ready for the next outing.

Yes! Finally I get to go clubbiiiiiingg!!

Zouk it was, with Danny and the gang plus Karine!

Unfortunately I didn’t bring the camera along hence no pictures. 😦

And just last night,Β  JessΒ hadΒ a party atΒ her place to celebrate her nephew Alex’s birthday!

The three of us, Jess, Heng and I coincidentally were all colour co-ordinated.

Haha! Unfortunately IΒ don’t have any pictures of us threeΒ together.

#3. BFFs πŸ™‚

Loi was drinking, too that night!!

It was a really nice party, I would say cause we all get to eat, talk andΒ do laid back stuffs. Hehe.

We were at the multi purpose hall earlier then after the cake-cutting ceremony, we went back to Loi’s place.

Some watched movies..

Some stoned…

While some played card-reading or something like that. πŸ˜‰

Then it was the best part of all parties, the present-opening time!!! πŸ™‚

Everyone was so excited! Haha!

By the way, the youngest little boy in the picture is Alexandar, the birthday boy. πŸ™‚

After everyone left, I stayed back with Heng, just to chat with Loi.

And so we stayed until 3am-ish then we left.

So what’s next, what’s next??

Nothing. T.T

Cause I’m going back to UM tomorrow morning. *big sigh

A Happy One At Last!

15 Dec

Yesterday was the first time in this holidays I actually felt excited about going out!

Yes, finally I’m back to normal. Haha!

Probably because I was going to watch a movie I’ve always wanted to watch.

I’ve been waiting for months to watch this…

Princess and HengLi the Frog!!!

It was such a good movie!!!

I super love Disney cartoons, I’ve never missed anyone of it!

So this is a must-watch when I saw the trailer!

The characters are so adorable, the script was so funny and the songs were NICEEEEE~

#2. The people I went with. πŸ™‚

Anyway, while we were waiting for our movie, as we’re very boring people, we got no where to go with nothing to do.

Loi suggested we go to the cinema area cause that’s the cool place, apparently. T.T

And this happened.

#3. Our kind of movie posters

#4. Spot the difference?

After the movie, dinner it was! πŸ™‚

#5. Carl's Jr. πŸ™‚

Because we’re very boring people, hence we are easier to please.

Simple pleasures in life like this make us very very happy! πŸ™‚

#6. Happy people.

#7. Happy Loi

Then we headed to Starbucks to meet some of the form 6 bunch.

It’s been a while since we last met. πŸ™‚

#8. Bao Yen & Jess

And oh, Starbucks it was, because of this…

#9. Loi & her long-awaited planner

Loi! One of the pages is sponsored by me, okay! πŸ˜‰

#10. Variety of colours and flavours

And races

Okay, that’s all! I’m now looking forward to shopping with Mrs Choong!

Yes, she’s my mom. πŸ™‚

Enough of Holidays

13 Dec

A short summary on the things I’ve been up to lately.

Out of serious, can-kill-people-level-of-boredom, the three of us went to Pyramid for lunch.

Simply go there just to get out of the house. Haha.

Best part is Boy was treating us. πŸ™‚

#1. How I eat my pizza πŸ™‚

Yes, I add lots and lots of cheese powder every time I eat pizza. πŸ™‚

After lunch, we walked around and I was hoping to snap some pictures at the Christmas deco area, but too bad it was too crowded.

I only got one in the end. 😦

#3. Fei & Boy

Because Boy is a boy (?), hence he’s impatient and can never stand shopping.

So we left after a while and no, the outing didn’t help to lift my mood.

Just last night, we were supposed to have our fancy monthly dinner (it’s a thing we do quite often lately; my family and I will go venture for good food when we have just a bit of extra money or something) but unfortunately, we ended up with Nando’s.

#4. Me food!!!

Still good though to me.

Cause it was already 8 something and I had brunch only.

But sigh, I still feel moody after everything.

Met up with the BFFs after dinner.

#5. Taipan Food Garden

Yup, we were at the Taipan Food Garden.

The new food court we have in Taipan now, opposite McD’s and True Fitness.

And they have swings in there!

Down side is your butt will pain one after sitting a while at the swings.

I think that’s their strategy or else we’ll sit there all day with the same cup of drink. Haha. Yes, we are cheapskate like that.

#6. Heng

Just letting you guys know Heng was actually dancing when I took the picture. Haha!

No pictures of Loi, though cause I got lazy already when she reached.

Seriously, holidays without plans kills your mood like anything.

I’ve been super moody lately all thanks to the holidays. 😦

I want to go back to the awfully boring lectures, assignments, presentations, and everything else.

p.s: I just realized I got the wrong date for the first picture. It’s supposed to be 11th Dec actually. Haha. But I’m too lazy to edit all over so just ignore it lah k.
