It’s 2010!

1 Jan

Today’s post starts with a quiz!

Guess where I welcomed 2010 with countdowns and fireworks? ๐Ÿ™‚

No, I was not out of Subang.

Hehe. Okay, I celebrated at the Taipan Food Garden!!

#1. Taipan Food Garden

There were so many people there cause they had some countdown celebration with live band and lucky draws!!!

#2. The crowd

And I went with..

#3. The annoyed brother

#4. The old one. ๐Ÿ˜‰

In fact, Mom was the most excited one.

We were planning to go McDonald’s but she kept finding fault with McD’s to just go to Taipan Food Garden instead.

Finally brought her there or else I believe I’m going to have a very difficult day today. ๐Ÿ™‚

So, as I said, there were fireworks!!

Not bad right!!

Even Taipan has fireworks now!!!

It was a good celebration for me.

Get to see fireworks and best of all, no traffic problem.

And and! I got to eat McD’s also in the end. ๐Ÿ™‚

So, what New Year’s resolution I have?

I’ve only got three.

#1. To get a CGP of at least 3.85 this semester.

I did some calculation and if I really want to graduate with a CGPA ofย 3.7, I will need to get 3.85 every coming semester.

Wish me luck cause 3.85 is like Lik Sheng’s standard which is to me, almost God-like standard. O.o

#2. To spend more time with friends in university.

I realized I’ve been too active last semester and I’m always going for meetings instead of catching-up-get-togethers at Sahur.

Enough of that.

Three semesters left and time passes way too fast.

I want to spend as much time as I can with them before we all graduate and them all leaving back to their respective hometowns. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Louise is from Kedah, Elensha is from Kuantan, Moon is from Penang, Juin is from Terengganu, Hung Tong is from Perak, and Mandy is from….well, Puchong.

How are we all going to find time for reunion after graduation. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

#3. To be happy.

This may sound really easy but it’s the most difficult actually.

I realized it’s been sometime since I last laughed until I cried if Heng didn’t make fun of himselfย  the other day.

Laughing like that is tiring but it makes you feel much better, much more relieved.

I want more of times like that. ๐Ÿ™‚

So, Happy New Year people.

May the year of 2010 bring loads of fun and good time to everyone of us!

You know, I seriously think your mother appears on your blog more than you do.

Lik Sheng’s doing very well, I see! He was from my old school, and his brother was in my year. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Lik Sheng around in UM, though, apart from one or two random occasions in 2008.

Since you and the gang are from all over the country, here’s an idea for reunion: MEGA ROAD TRIP! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Happy 2010!

Ben: Yeah! He’s doing double degree some more, that crazy genius. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Haha! My mom looks funnier in pictures than me. ;-p

Yu Lyn: Lyn!! Happy New Year to you too!! Actually I’m at Subang most of the weekends. ๐Ÿ™‚ Except the coming one (9th Jan) cause going out with the uni friends. When will you be back? Have you graduated yet? ๐Ÿ™‚ So good to hear from you!!

Belle: Sorry darling!! Actually I was talking about spending time with those in college cause somehow I know you will arrange for meet-ups even after we’ve graduated! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Backpacking sounds like a good idea actually! But kinda scary, too. O.o

Hahaha… i just wanted to merajuk for a bit only.. i seldom do anyways.. LOL.. i understand.. but that also means, you’ll be willing to go out when i call ya.. haha.. and i shall attempt to conquer the subang area when i frequent there more.. ๐Ÿ™‚

i think it is a bit scary too… but if we’ve got like a stash, my aunt recommend us to go Aust… cuz if no money, we can pick fruits and minimum wage is 40 aussie dollars.. about there… and it’s like how long you wanna pick fruits that kind.. haha.. but i’m fine with M’sia too.. ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • Xin Min at 5:32 pm #

Belle: Haha! Collect fruits! So cool! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I think we start off with Malaysia first lah. Either that or we go our neighbouring countries. Thailand seems like a lot of fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

YuLyn: Okay! Actually even when I’m in uni can always go out at night considering I’m in PJ only. ๐Ÿ™‚ See you soon!!
