Eat PLAY Love

4 Nov

I know, I know. I’ve been away for tad bit too long.

But hey, the laptop didn’t co-operate very much earlier with the space bar not working. So I was talking with fullstops instead of spaces for about two days.

Haha! Alright, time for the usual updates. šŸ™‚

Just last Saturday, I went home to attend my little cousin’s 1st birthday party, held at a bistro kinda place called Utopia, somewhere near Damansara Perdana.

#1. Agar-agar layered birthday cake!

#2. Birthday boy! šŸ™‚

The most adorable birthday boy I’ve ever seen who didn’t even cry or whine over the noise but instead slept throughout the party!

Only woke up when it was time for the cake-cutting ceremony! So super cute!

Oh well, what do kids remember actually from their first birthday. All I know was I got drunk because I drank some beer from my uncles’ cans of beer when nobody’s watching. Hehe.

So basically the whole party thing was for the grown ups to catch up and get together.

#3. With birthday boy's mommy and grandmother

And yes, if you guys remember the birthday boy’s grandmother (the one in green) is my nanny! Which explains why we’re so close to the kids. šŸ™‚

Instead of mingling around with the aunts and uncles, I was having a lot of fun with this cutie pie.

#4. Qii Qii & I

For someone her age, she’s extremely intelligent and bright!Ā ā™„

Oh, the Halloween deco was in conjunction with the Halloween celebration that weekend.

So well, after the party, I got back to the university the next day. Since it’s already the study week, I ought to spend more time in the college where there’s less distractions.

Or so, I thought. Sigh.

Just last two days, we had our room mates outing to catch Eat Pray Love.

I think many would’ve thought of the movie as a bore but to me, it was really inspiring in so many ways and the script, dialogues in the movie was seriously funny in a motivational way!

My favourite part was of course, in the beginning when Julia Roberts went on her eating spree in Italy. *yummy!

There was one part where her friend didn’t want to eat the super yummy pizza because she was beginning to have a muffin top.

Then Julia said something like, “Has any guy turn you down when you undress in front of him?”

Then her friend said no.

So she answered, “Exactly. Because when a girl undresses in front of a guy, it’s already a bonus to him, regardless of her having a muffin top or not.”

Something like that and haha! I find it so true! šŸ˜€

#6. Louise, Moon & I

So after movie, we went over to Carrefour for some grocery shopping, to prepare for our steamboat dinner in conjunction with DB100’s room warming!

#7. Felicia, Louise and Moon

It was so much fun in the hypermarket, choosing what we want to have in our soup later and most importantly, constantly checking if we’ve gone off budget. Haha.

#8. Steamboat party!

We even invited Annabelle and Malar, the dear neighbour over to join us!

So after eating, the usual card games session started!

Along with some SS moments…

and of course, the ever random moments. This time, it was yoga!

#12. Elen & the Yoga teacher, Belle.

Haha! After the steamboat session, we were all so hyped up that we’re planning for another makan session at DB100 next semester!

But before that, we’re going to have to go through all the examinations and stuff.

Such is life of a student.
